SPECIAL EFFECT FOILS

Point Scandinavia offer a wide range of special effects and specialty foils to attract and create visual interest and appeal. Multi colour or rainbow foils are available and can create interesting and colorful effects. We also offer foils with excellent resistance and workability for demanding applications such as weather exposed applications.

Scratch Off Foils
For paper or plastic cards. After the foil has been scratched off the information becomes visible. Have a clean scratch and release. Different numbers, passwords. Customized design available.

Clear Transparent Foils
We offer clear transparent foils for graphics and plastics. Clear foils provides an elegant clear gloss sheen lacquer look on your stamped products. Can be used as a protection lacquer, to be printed over a matt foil to make it glossy or just to give your product an exclusive look. A clear foil gives you a finish similar to UV varnish.

Clear Transparent Holographic Foils
Clear hot stamping foils with holographic patterns. Available in most standard holographic patterns.

Brushed Foils
Satin brushed finish of metal. Brushed hot stamping foils give the effect of matt brushed aluminum surface design. They have an exceptionally tough top lacquer coat with a high scratch resistance. Superior physical and chemical properties. Increased scratch and abrasion resistance.

Chrome Foils
Hot stamping foils with a robust metallic appearance primarily used in the exterior plastic applications where high resistance to the elements are required. Excellent exterior resistance. Superior physical and chemical properties. Increased scratch and abrasion resistance. Used in the plastic industry and automotive industry.

Exterior Foils
Aluminum foils for exterior outdoor exposure with superior abrasion resistance.

Tint Foils
Create a soft pastel appearance. Can be applied in varying degrees of colour density by changing the press temperature when stamping. The colour can dramatically vary depending on colour of paper, pressure and heat used.  Uncoated stock is recommended when using tint foils. Translucent stamping foil. Can be used with embossing. Unique release characteristics.

Pearl Foils
Perl foils have a translucent pearlescent shine colour. Best for medium to large details in paper and boards. Good for embossed stamped applications. Uncoated stock is recommended.

Multi-Colour
Foils with several colours.
