We work with manufactures who are highly regarded for their superior quality. We try to focus on environmentally friendly products. Hot stamping is an environmentally friendly process that is dry, clean, ink free and does not smell. All our foils are non toxic and heavy metal free ink formulations that can be recycled printed on paper and boards. We have efficient handling of waste. Our key focus is to search for environmentally friendly products and to continuously improve our products for our customers. The owner of Point Scandinavia is a dedicated believer in saving the rainforests. He often travels to the rainforest areas and provide donations to organizations in this field.

ENVIRONMENT HOT STAMPING FOILS
Foil stamping is an environmentally friendly process and our foils are non-toxic and heavy metal free. There are no solvents or inks associated with the foil printing technique. Independent studies have been done to determine the biodegradability and the recyclability of hot stamping foils stamped on paper and board by Pira International. The study proved that foil blocking does not affect the ability to recycle board or paper. The biodegradability of board is unaffected by foil blocking, showing that foils have no visual effect on the rate of biodegradation, and were completely broken down. From an environment and energy point of view, polyester film is a very efficient material with low energy consumption and is easy to recycle. Hot stamping waste can be disposed of with house hold waste. Based on our suppliers information our standard foil products contain no dangerous substrates as cited by European Directives.

Our book cloth materials from Manifattura del Seveso have the environmentally certification ISO 14001, 9001 and FSC certification for the most part of the tissue collection, on cotton and even on viscose items.
