Brass Foil Printing Die
High precision brass dies. Used for printing plastics or graphics. For plastics when the stamping is going deep into the material. For high volume jobs.
Brass Embossing Die
Blind embossing creates a raised image onto the paper without further decoration. It requires a brass (female) die and a matching (male) counter die. For perfect fitting please enclose paper when order. Careful consideration must be taken when choosing paper. Heavier long fiber paper provides the best results and maximum height that can be achieved. Coated and varnished papers are not recommended and may crack when embossed. No foil is used. Hand sculptured, machine tooled or etched dies. Die and counter die have locating pin holes for easy positioning of the counter die. Available as single level die or multilevel die.
Brass De-Bossing Die
Lowering the image surface in the paper (with the use of a male die). Multi-level de-bossed dies are available. For perfect fitting please enclose paper when ordering. Negative text may appear smaller than positive. Please consider this fact when creating original documents. Matching male and female die set for de-bossing applications. Heavier long fiber paper provide the best result and maximum depth can be achieved. Die and counter die have locating pin holes for easy positioning of the counter die. Available as single level or multilevel die.
Brass Foil-Embossing Die
Foil and embossing in one run. Combine the embossing of an image with the addition of stamping foil. High precision and fine detail and a variety of special effects. Foil embossing requires a matching female die and a male counter die set for foil-embossing applications. Heavier long fiber paper provide the best result. Coated and varnished papers are not recommended and may crack foil-embossed. Die and counter die have locating pin holes for an easy positioning of the counter die. Available in single level or multilevel die.
Counter Die
Counter dies serve as counter pressure for embossing dies. Counter dies are just as important as the embossing die. Without a perfect male counter die the result will be a failure. Different type of counter dies are available in epoxy or fiberglass. Flexible plastic counter dies are available for cylinder machines. Used for: blind embossing, de-bossing, foil-embossing, positioning system with pins.
Brass Sculptured Die
A hand tooled brass die containing many levels at varying depths. Using different angles, edges and depths to create vision of realism. The work is given a finish by an engravers hand finishing tool.
Brass Multi-Level Die
Raising or lowering an image two or more levels.
Contoured Dies
Available in brass, steel or silicone.
Brass Dies with Patterns and Structures
Flat brass dies with structure or different patterns. This die makes a micro texture in the foiling surface. It is an alternative to using textured foil.
Steel Die
Used for the highest quality long run demands for flat stamping. Can be used for one million impressions. Very hard and difficult material to manufacture therefore more expensive than brass dies. Hardest material for hot stamp dies.
Brass Type
We offer high quality brass type sets in a wide range of typefaces and point sizes. Manufactured specially for hot stamping wherever pressure and heat is needed. The characters are deeply engraved to the highest standards resulting in a sharper, cleaner impression. Available in different type styles in a variety of point sizes on request.
Standard thickness of all brass dies is 7mm. Other thicknesses on request. For books, albums and leather products. To be used in a type holder or in a blocking press.
Heat extension will be compensated while manufacturing. For ordering please supply vector EPS files. For more information or enquiry please contact us. We will be happy to discuss your requirements.
